Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience serving as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Facilitator on federal or enterprise programs.
• Strong experience with Agile methodologies, SAFe, backlog management, sprint execution and cross-functional coordination.
• Excellent facilitation, stakeholder communication, risk management and team leadership skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, CS, Engineering, or related field.
• Active Top Secret Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
• Coordinate across data engineering, ETL, migration, cloud, QA, and DevSecOps teams to align with delivery objectives.
• Identify and remove impediments, manage risks and dependencies, improve sprint predictability.
• Prepare and communicate sprint metrics, burn-down charts, status reports, and delivery updates to leadership.
• Support high-quality data migration outcomes through collaboration with Product Owners, QA, and tech leads.

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to support a company focused on modernizing critical federal systems through large-scale data migration, cloud transformation, and enterprise modernization initiatives. This position is on-site in Huntsville, AL. The Senior Scrum Master will serve as a servant leader for cross-functional migration, ETL, data engineering, and testing teams, ensuring disciplined Agile execution and successful delivery of mission-critical objectives. Responsibilities for the Senior Scrum Master include:

• Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for the migration workstream
• Coordinate across data engineering, ETL, migration, cloud, QA, and DevSecOps teams to ensure alignment with delivery objectives and schedules
• Identify and remove impediments, manage risks and dependencies, and improve team performance and sprint predictability
• Prepare and communicate sprint metrics, burn-down charts, status reports, and delivery updates to leadership and stakeholders
• Support high-quality data migration outcomes through collaboration with Product Owners, QA teams, and technical leads

Required Qualifications for the Senior Scrum Master include:

• 8+ years of experience serving as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Agile Facilitator supporting federal or enterprise programs

Compensation for the Senior Scrum Master include:

• Salary Range: $130,000 - $140,000 depending on experience
