• 5+ years as Scrum Master on large projects with ceremonies, backlog, burndown reporting.
• 5+ years with complex application security requirements.
• 3 years with SaaS, CRM, and Cloud infrastructure.
• 3 years with Jira and Confluence.
• Agile Scrum Master Certification.
• PMP Certification.

Senior Scrum Master

Peak Performers has partnered with a Texas State Agency to assist in their search for a hybrid Senior Scrum Master in Austin, Tx. In this contract position, you will lead and perform highly advanced analytical and coordination work in an agile environment relating to the implementation of new agency solutions, including but not limited to GIS and Grants Management solutions.

Major duties

• Participate and/or lead in project management, coordination, planning, and scheduling with the agency and Vendor staff in an Agile environment
• Facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective meetings.
• Work with product owners, and internal customers, to maintain requirements backlog and conduct requirements elaborations
• Mentor product owners, internal customers, project managers, developers and others in agile principles and leading industry practices.

• Contribute to development and sharing of agile standard methodologies
• Assist in the evaluation of technical solutions and make recommendations based on sound reasoning.

What are we looking for?

Minimum

• 6 years of knowledge of the Agile Development Methodology, including Scrum and/or Kanban, with demonstrated ability to inspect and adapt Agile practices to various situations.
• 6 years of experience developing functional specifications and documenting functional designs for large projects.
• 6 years of experience in project management, including Agile and other SDLC methodologies, plus knowledge of software development methodologies, testing, design, and implementations.
• 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master on large projects, including Scrum ceremonies, backlog refinement, burndown charts, and reporting to management.
• 5 years of experience with highly complex application security requirements.
• 3 years of working knowledge and detailed understanding of SaaS, CRM, and Cloud Infrastructure.
• 3 years of experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Agile Scrum Master Certification.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.

Preferred

• 3 years of experience with Texas procurement and contract guidelines (Texas Project Delivery Framework).
• 3 years of experience with Jira Roadmaps.
• 3 years of experience with Tableau.
• 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office products, including Teams, Microsoft Project, Word, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint.
