Job summary

Ethos is seeking a senior writer to craft TV, radio, and podcast scripts, including direct response formats. You will adapt scripts for UGC and paid social, and support influencer content, reporting to the Creative Director of Offline.

You will shape concepts that feel authentic, able to move quickly with AI-assisted tooling while maintaining sharp judgment and a strong sense of storytelling for performance marketing.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience writing for TV, radio, podcast, and paid social or UGC channels.
• Deep understanding of direct response creative for TV and radio.
• Experience writing UGC and paid social scripts for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Experience writing for influencer partnerships and giving creators direction that reads as their own voice.

Responsibilities

• Concept and write scripts for TV, radio, and podcast, including direct response formats built for 15 and 30 second spots, from brief through final delivery
• Write UGC scripts captured during TV production shoots, and adapt them for standalone paid social content across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube
• Support influencer efforts with scripts, talking points, and creative direction that give creators a clear angle without sounding scripted
• Develop original creative territories and angles to push Ethos across broadcast and digital formats
• Show up to TV and UGC shoots to bring concepts to life on set
• Collaborate with CD of Offline, producers, editors, and performance marketing to optimize next scripts
• Use AI tools to move fast, while maintaining personal judgment and taste
• Stay current on direct response best practices, broadcast and radio trends, and creator culture across paid social
• Write with a performance lens: hook, narrative arc, and reason to act for TV or TikTok content
