We are social media experts with over a decade of experience, having built a combined audience of 35 million subscribers across all major platforms. Led by Netflix host and Big Brother/America’s Got Talent alum Nick Uhas—who brings over 9 million followers and a decade of experience in both traditional media and digital content—we help clients grow their brands with research, script writing, editing, and posting for them. We take the heavy lifting off their plate so they can focus on their business.

About the Role:

Looking for a freelance copywriter for Uhas Media. This position requires a deep understanding of how social media works and the psychology behind it. We are more focused on finding someone who knows about social media than is a traditional copywriter or scriptwriter.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Research of client’s business (10-12 hours per business niche)
• Follow our research system (developing a spreadsheet of link kind creators)
• Write bi-line scripts with actions and dialogue (some portions are instructive as the client has to understand what to do in the script)

What We’re Looking For:

• You are well-versed in social media (MUST)
• You understand how to write specifically for social media scripts
• Understand how to navigate social media platforms for QUICK research (well-versed on how to search on platforms using keywords)
• Understands how to use AI writing tools
• You understand short-form content (Instagram reels, Facebook reels, Youtube shorts, TikToks, etc)
• You know the algorithms, specifically Instagram
• You can follow the systems that are in place
• Strong with spelling & grammar and writing instructional formats
• Dependable and will get work done on time every day
• Responsive — reply within 30 minutes or less
• Committed and looking for a long-term role with consistency and security
• Organized, very neat and detail-oriented (super important)
• Trustworthy — Need someone we can trust
• Freelance at first but looking to go full time as we gain clients
