Job summary

General Dynamics Land Systems seeks a Senior Project Management Professional to lead the Abrams Modernization SCM efforts in Sterling Heights, MI. The role focuses on material requirements, master scheduling, and cross-functional support for engineering and production.

Responsibilities include coordinating with program offices, finance, and product teams; driving BOM decisions and purchase order planning; and delivering status reports to ensure schedule and cost targets are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of professional experience in SCM, PM, or manufacturing.
• Strong MRP/ERP planning skills and experience are a plus.
• Ability to communicate to all levels of the organization and lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the SCM department within Abrams Modernization Program.
• Ensure milestones and master scheduling align with financial and schedule targets.
• Interface with internal teams and external customers, coordinating material requirements.
• Develop agendas and presentations for leadership meetings and program reviews.
• Drive early BOM identification and make/buy decisions to support procurement.
• Maintain status reports on material releases and delivery status; escalate issues to leadership.
