Job summary

General Dynamics Land Systems in Sterling Heights, MI, seeks a seasoned Supply Chain lead to drive material planning, master scheduling, and procurement support for the Abrams Modernization Program. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of overall professional experience, including 7–10 years in Supply Chain Management or related areas.
• Strong MRP/ERP planning skills and experience.
• Experience working with DoD programs and cross-functional teams is a plus.
• Proven leadership and ability to drive program schedules and cost objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead Supply Chain Management for Abrams Modernization Program and related contracts.
• Ensure material support tasks and master scheduling align with milestones and financial objectives.
• Interface with program offices, engineering, procurement, and external customers to identify and resolve material issues.
• Develop agendas, chair meetings, and present SCM updates to leadership.
• Drive early BOM identification and make/buy decisions to support procurement and production.
• Maintain and publish status reports on material releases and delivery status.
• Support pricing, budgeting, and forecasting activities within SCM scope.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including LSS, WSA and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
