Bioio, Inc. in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Senior Scientist to lead wet-lab and dry-lab efforts in preclinical drug discovery. You will run cell-based and biochemical assays that feed into our functional genomics AI platform and own data generation.

The role emphasizes bench work with strong data analysis, in a lean startup environment where you own programs. PhD preferred; on-site; salary $90-125K with health premiums, 401(k) match, equity and flexible time off.

Qualifications

• PhD in cell biology, biochemistry, pharmacology, or similar preferred.
• Genuinely strong at mammalian cell culture and assay development.
• Fluent with data analysis.
• Thrive in a lean startup where you own your programs.
• Bonus: metabolic or neuro disease models, screening, drug discovery experience.

Responsibilities

• Run the cell-based and biochemical assays that drive our pipelines and generate data.
• Help turn that data into signal our computational platform can learn from.
• Mostly bench work, but analytical capabilities are critical.
