Job summary

Obsidian Therapeutics seeks an experienced Scientist/Senior Scientist to advance analytical sciences for viral vectors in a late-stage clinical program. You will lead method development, transfer, validation and lifecycle management, partnering with QC and external labs to ensure readiness for regulatory filings and commercialization.

The role requires a PhD in a relevant field, leadership in analytical development, and strong statistical and data-analysis skills, with an emphasis on assay

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant discipline with extensive analytical development experience.
• Proven track record leading analytical methods for viral vectors.
• Experience with method transfer, qualification, and regulatory support.
• Strong data analysis, statistics, and experimental design skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, optimization, troubleshooting, transfer and lifecycle management of analytical methods for retroviral vectors.
• Design studies to evaluate accuracy, precision, linearity, range, robustness and comparability.
• Analyze complex datasets using JMP and other tools to support method development.
• Collaborate with QC and external labs during transfer, qualification and validation.
• Support protocol authoring and data analyses for qualification/validation reports.
• Collaborate across teams to advance strategies for viral vector manufacturing and commercialization.
• Source and evaluate new analytical technologies to enhance capabilities.
