Job summary

OXB in Bedford, MA is seeking a Senior Scientist for Analytical Development Operations to lead method development, transfers, and QC support for viral vector programs. You will guide GMP analytics, supervise cross-functional teams, and drive successful tech transfers and method validations.

The role emphasizes client-facing collaboration, data trending, and mentoring junior staff within a world-class analytical development environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in biology or chemistry or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of post-degree experience with leadership in analytics.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and client-facing talks.
Extensive analytical method development, qualification and tech transfers.
Expertise in analytical methods for viral vectors and GMP/ICH/GLP basics.

Responsibilities

Lead analytical development operations, manage client work status, FTE and costs.
Oversee method transfer/validation/verification for GMP analytics (ddPCR, qPCR, ELISA, HPLC, CE-SDS, LCMS, cell assays).
Act as SME in client meetings, reviews, tech transfers; nurture client relationships.
Monitor method performance trends and drive continuous improvement.
Support data trending of assay controls and reference standards.
Lead troubleshooting and coordinate with QC/QA teams.
Collaborate with internal/external groups to ensure program success.
Present critical analytical issues and solutions to teams.
Mentor and develop junior associates and scientists.
