Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a scientist to support upstream viral vector development and process optimization for engineered T cell manufacturing. You will contribute to tech transfer, process characterization, and cross-functional collaborations with internal and external teams.

The role requires hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture, DOE, and data analysis, along with strong technical writing and communication skills to present results effectively.

Qualifications

• BS or MS with hands-on upstream experience in cell culture and viral vectors.
• Experience with DOE and statistical software (e.g., JMP).
• Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to train others.
• Ability to multitask and coordinate within a team to drive projects.

Responsibilities

• Support upstream viral vector development/optimization in mammalian culture.
• Assist process development and tech transfer for viral vector manufacturing.
• Contribute to late-phase development and process characterization.
• Design, plan, execute and analyze DOE-based experiments.
