Responsibilities

• Lead scale-up activities from bench to pilot scale (200L–2000L) ensuring process comparability.
• Collaborate with process development scientists to translate lab findings into scalable manufacturing processes.
• Review JSAs and provide feedback to equipment owners.
• Train staff on safety, efficiency, and operational best practices.
• Interface with CMC community and promote best practices across teams.
• Demonstrate SME-level knowledge in upstream bioprocessing at all scales.
• Lead RCA investigations for process deviations and equipment failures.
• Present findings to senior management and external stakeholders.
