Job summary

ICON is seeking a Senior Principal Scientist (Sr. Research Scientist) in Lenexa, KS to lead scientific research advancing clinical trials and therapies.

The role involves method development and validation for flow cytometry and ligand-binding assays, with oversight of transfer to bioanalytical testing and collaboration with sponsors. The ideal candidate has extensive flow cytometry experience, including spectral flow, panel design, and software proficiency; MS or PhD preferred with publication

Qualifications

• Experience in method development and validation for flow cytometry.
• Experience with ligand-binding assays (ELISA, ECLIA).
• Experience with assay transfer and validation.
• Proven publication/presentation in regulated field (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develops and validates flow cytometry methods for preclinical and clinical specimens.
• Oversees transfer of robust flow cytometry methods for bioanalytical testing.
• Mentors junior scientists and reviews data quality and project status.
• Communicates effectively with clients and project teams.
