Job summary

ICON is seeking a Senior Principal Scientist for on-site work in Lenexa, KS. You will lead method development for flow cytometry and ligand-binding assays, manage sponsor programs, and shape assay strategies for new modalities.

Demonstrated spectral flow cytometry expertise and strong leadership are required, with experience mentoring staff and interfacing with clients on project status.

Qualifications

• Fluent English in reading/writing and speaking.
• Spectral flow cytometry experience required.
• 10–15 years of relevant lab experience.
• MS or PhD with applicable research in a relevant field preferred.
• Presenter/publications in regulated field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead method development and validation for flow cytometry and ligand-binding assays.
• Oversee transfer of robust methods for bioanalytical testing.
• Mentor junior scientists and review data.
• Communicate project status with sponsors and management.
