Job summary

Bruker Spatial Biology seeks a Senior Scientist for a fixed-term 12-month contract in Seattle, WA. You will own the full experimental pipeline from FFPE tissue processing through data generation, QC, and delivery of analysis-ready datasets, working closely with internal R&D and external collaborators.

This hands-on role requires strong wet-lab skills, experience with spatial platforms such as CosMx, and the ability to meet project milestones while operating on-site.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. with 3+ years post-graduate experience in relevant fields.
• Hands-on experience with spatial biology platforms (CosMx or comparable).
• Proficiency in FFPE tissue processing and imaging workflows.
• Ability to independently execute, troubleshoot, and QC complex assays.

Responsibilities

• Execute spatial multi-omic assays on FFPE tissues per SOPs.
• Own end-to-end sample processing and QC workflows.
• Generate and QC single-cell spatial data across imaging cycles.
• Package datasets for delivery with clear version control.
• Maintain run logs and protocol deviation records.
• Communicate progress and data quality to project leads.
• Collaborate with bioinformatics partners to align metadata.
