Job summary

CACI seeks a Senior Scientist for a space-based remote sensing program. You will translate signals to software, lead algorithm development from concept to application, and mentor teammates. A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and U.S.

Qualifications

U.S. citizenship with active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Signals Processing, Physics, or related field; or 10 years of professional experience in lieu of degree.
Background in SAR and translating SAR technologies into working software.
Proficient in C++, Python, MATLAB, or Rust.

Responsibilities

Lead algorithm development and signal processing from conception to software application.
Convert algorithm definitions and prototypes into software that runs efficiently on large images for operational environments.
Mentor and transfer knowledge to junior team members.
Collaborate across program and vendor teams to integrate algorithms into software and hardware platforms.
Represent company and program in working groups and meetings.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
