Job summary

Personal Care Product Council in Washington, DC, seeks a Senior Quality Assurance & Ingredient Chemistry Manager to lead QA initiatives, advance ingredient chemistry expertise, and support regulatory alignment across global cosmetic standards.

The role collaborates with the Quality Committee, INCI and CIR teams, and cross-functional partners to implement GMP practices and ensure regulatory awareness in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• MS/MA or PhD in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in quality assurance within the cosmetic, skincare, or personal care industry.
• Knowledge of GMPs, FDA cosmetic regulations and INCI nomenclature.

Responsibilities

• Lead and advance quality assurance initiatives, including MoCRA implementation and ISO guidelines.
• Provide expert guidance on ingredient chemistry, composition, and nomenclature; support INCI initiatives.
• Support cross-functional teams and monitor regulatory developments to align nomenclature programs.
