Job summary

Lilly in Indianapolis is seeking an API-EM Senior/Principal Scientist to provide technical oversight for peptide and oligonucleotide manufacturing at external contract manufacturers.

You will drive technology transfer, process stewardship, investigations, and regulatory support, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure cGMP compliance and robust process validation. Some travel is required; onsite in Indianapolis, IN.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in scientific disciplines (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, or Engineering).
• 3+ years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States full-time.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight for peptide and/or oligonucleotide manufacturing processes.
• Lead investigations and CAPAs to resolve technical issues.
• Support regulatory submissions with technical input.
• Maintain compliant, in-control processes across external manufacturers.
• Mentor peers and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
