Job summary

Lilly, headquartered in Indianapolis, is seeking an API-EM Sr. Scientist to provide technical expertise for external manufacturing of peptide drug substance. You will monitor processes, address issues, and drive improvements while ensuring regulatory compliance and quality standards across contract manufacturers.

The role requires cross-functional collaboration, strong communication, and knowledge of cGMPs. Some travel and off-shift work may be required to support 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in scientific disciplines; Chemistry/Biochemistry strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of demonstrated experience with pharmaceutical manufacturing and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight for peptide manufacturing processes.
• Lead resolution of technical issues related to control strategy and manufacturing.
• Maintain internal/external relationships with development and technical organizations.
• Ensure documentation of process descriptions, measures, and specifications.
