Job summary

Lilly in Indianapolis, Indiana, is seeking an API-EM TS/MS Sr. Scientist to provide technical expertise for peptide manufacturing at external contract manufacturers and ensure compliance with global quality standards. The candidate will monitor processes, respond to issues, and drive improvements across external sites while ensuring GMP compliance.

You will mentor peers, collaborate cross-functionally, and contribute to validated, compliant manufacturing operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, or Engineering (Chemistry/Biochemistry strongly preferred).
• 3+ years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience and working knowledge of regulatory expectations.
• Experience with peptide manufacturing and external contract manufacturers is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight and stewardship for peptide manufacturing processes.
• Leads resolution of technical issues including control strategy and manufacturing.
• Maintain compliance and validation status through data-driven documentation.
