Job summary

Lilly is seeking a Sr. Scientist for API-EM TS/MS to apply technical and scientific expertise in external manufacturing of peptide drug substances.

You will monitor processes, respond to issues, and drive improvements across contract partners to meet global quality standards. The role requires knowledge of cGMP, regulatory guidance, and collaboration with development and central technical organizations to ensure robust, validated processes and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a scientific field; Chemistry/Biochemistry strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight for peptide manufacturing processes.
• Lead resolution of technical issues related to control strategy and manufacturing.
• Ensure processes are compliant, in control, and maintained in a validated state.
• Coach and mentor peers and other scientists across teams.
