Qualifications

• Doctorate degree or Master’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience or Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of relevant experience.
• Degree in Molecular Biology, Protein Engineering, Structural Biology, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with molecular cloning workflows and plasmid design in a biotech environment.
• Experience translating scientific workflows into informatics tools and data models.

Responsibilities

• Lead meetings with molecular biologists and cloning scientists to understand workflow needs.
• Translate scientific requirements into data and workflow specifications for software teams.
• Collaborate with data and technology teams on data model implementation and integration.
• Define data relationships across applications and ensure accurate representation of constructs and related formats.
• Lead requirements reviews, testing, and user adoption activities.
