Kairos Power is a new nuclear energy technology company commercializing the fluoride-salt-cooled, high-temperature reactor (FHR). We are seeking a software engineer to design and implement scientific software in Python and C++, owning architecture and performance with close collaboration with nuclear engineers.

You will lead build, packaging, and delivery efforts, owning CI/CD, reproducible packaging for Python and C++, and establishing container patterns and QA automation.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain scientific software in Python and C++.
• Own architecture, performance optimization, and collaboration with nuclear engineers.
• Own CI/CD and reproducible packaging for Python and C++.
• Establish container patterns and quality assurance automation.
• Set engineering standards, review code, and mentor engineers.
• Evaluate build-versus-buy and choose simple, maintainable designs.
