FUJIFILM Biosciences is seeking a Senior Scientist I in Analytical Development & Solutions in California. You will independently develop advanced analytical methods, lead MS/proteomics projects, and supervise up to two researchers. Qualifications

• BS in science/engineering with >10 years of relevant work experience or MS with >8 years or PhD with >2 years
• Minimum five years relevant experience in Bioprocessing, Chemistry, Biochemistry
• Mass Spectrometry & Proteomics Expertise: high-resolution MS (Orbitrap, QTOF, LC-MS/MS) for peptide mapping and PTMs
• Biologics Characterization: monoclonal antibody analysis and spent media evaluation
• Analytical & Solid-State Instrumentation: HPLC/UPLC, ICP-MS, UV-Vis; FT-IR/Raman, XRF, SEM

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from conception to conclusion with budgets and timelines
• Provide cross-functional technical support and mentorship to team members
• Perform advanced data analysis and generate data reports/presentations
• Troubleshoot equipment and implement workflow/process improvements
• Interpret literature to inform experimental design and product development
