Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Chemistry or a related field.
• BS will be considered with 7+ years of relevant industrial experience.
• Integrity, thoroughness, creativity, flexibility, initiative and problem-solving skills with collaborative teamwork.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience in formulation or development of lubricants or silicone products preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead or participate as a core member of a product commercialization team.
• Develop new and modified products to meet customer and market needs.
• Use scientific methods to validate solutions, including relevant industry standards and test methods.
• Explore properties of advanced lubricants to create differentiated customer solutions.
• Lead scale-up activities for new products at manufacturing plants.
• Develop expertise with specialty test equipment for lubricants and collaborate with the global tribologist.
• Participate in multifunctional teams to deliver on team and business priorities.
• Collaborate with global teams including R&D, application development, sales, marketing, manufacturing, product stewardship, and logistics.
