Job summary

DuPont’s MOLYKOTE Specialty Lubricants team seeks a Senior Scientist to solve real-world customer challenges in an industrial setting. You will develop and validate lubricants, lead scale-up activities, and collaborate across global R&D, manufacturing, and sales to deliver value-driven solutions.

The role requires advanced chemistry degrees and the ability to travel up to 15% to support multiple industries and manufacturing partners.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Chemistry or related field; 7+ years with BS.
• Strong problem-solving, integrity, and collaborative teamwork.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead or participate on a product commercialization team.
• Develop new and modified lubricants to meet customer needs.
• Apply scientific methods and industry standards to validate solutions.
• Explore properties of advanced lubricants to create value-added solutions.
• Lead scale-up activities for new products at manufacturing plants.
• Collaborate with global R&D, TS&D, and manufacturing teams.
