Job summary

GC Therapeutics seeks a Scientist or Senior Scientist to advance iPSC-based cell line development from bench to production scale. You will engineer iPSC-derived products for regenerative therapies and contribute to early-phase clinical candidates within a cross-functional team.

The role emphasizes GMP readiness, QC metric development, and collaborative work with Analytical Development, QA, Manufacturing, and R&D to drive product characterization and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in cell biology, biochemical/biomedical engineering, or related field.
• Experience with iPSC culture and cell engineering.
• Experience with flow cytometry, ELISA and microscopy.
• Knowledge of genome integrity and off-target analysis.

Responsibilities

• Culture and maintain iPSC lines; media prep, passaging, cryopreservation.
• Perform cell engineering to generate products for cell therapies.
• Design experiments to optimize differentiation and engineering processes.
• Document methodologies, summarize results, and present at meetings.
• Support GMP readiness and technology transfer to development teams.
• Draft batch records, SOPs, and regulatory documents.
