Job summary

BPS Bioscience Inc. is seeking aSenior Scientist, Process Development - Cell Based Assay to lead design, optimization, and scale‑up of manufacturing and QC for cell‑based products. You will validate engineered cell lines, perform tech transfer from R&D to manufacturing, and establish product specs and QC metrics.

The role requires hands‑on expertise in mammalian cell culture, diverse assay technologies, flow cytometry, and DoE/ SPC to improve productivity and robustness of product lines.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in a relevant life science field.
• 8+ years of hands-on cell-based assay development and process development.
• Experience validating engineered cell lines and performing technology transfer.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, validation, and optimization of manufacturing and QC processes for cell-based products.
• Characterize and validate stable cell lines using viral methods and gene editing.
• Qualify and validate cell-based assay methods (luciferase, HTRF, FRET, BRET, etc.).
• Transfer cell-based products from R&D to manufacturing and QC; enable tech transfer.
• Establish product specifications, release criteria, and QC methods.
