Job summary

GC Therapeutics is seeking a Research Associate or Associate Scientist to join the Cell Line Development team in Cambridge, MA. The role focuses on iPSC scale-up and differentiation from benchtop to production-scale bioreactors, contributing to early-phase clinical development with robust cell line candidates and quality control assays.

The successful candidate will culture iPSCs, perform genetic and phenotypic analyses, optimize differentiation protocols, and ensure documentation supports GMP

Qualifications

• BS or MS in cell biology, biochemical or biomedical engineering with 2+ years of industry experience.
• Strong expertise in iPSC culture and maintenance, cell engineering and characterization.
• Experience with flow cytometry and microscopy for cell analysis.

Responsibilities

• Culture iPSC lines including maintenance, media prep, passaging and cryopreservation.
• Perform cell engineering on iPSCs to generate products for cell therapies.
• Execute experiments to optimize differentiation and engineering processes for iPSC-derived cells.
• Document methodologies and results with thorough records for GMP readiness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and prepare data presentations.
