Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking two Senior Scientists in In Silico Discovery (CADD) to advance structure-based modeling, MD, FEP, and co-folding workflows. Belgium is primary location; California and Pennsylvania will be considered.

You’ll help build scalable automated workflows within a DMTA cycle, collaborating with ISD Cheminformatics, IT, and platform teams to deploy robust automated solutions.

Qualifications

• PhD in computational science, computational chemistry, or related field.
• Knowledge of structure-based computational drug discovery.
• Strong programming skills, preferably Python.
• Experience developing automated workflows or scientific apps.
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration frameworks.
• Software engineering best practices: version control, testing, CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Develop components for automated structure-based modeling workflows from prototypes to deployable solutions.
• Expand automated components and develop automation for new structure-based tools.
• Collaborate with platform and automation teams to implement scientific workflows.
• Contribute requirements and feedback to shape the workflow platform and DMTA environment.
• Ensure workflows align with platform strategy, standards, security, and operations.
