Job summary

MSD is seeking a research and product development leader to design and execute experiments across disciplines within clinical and life sciences. You will supervise interdisciplinary teams, plan studies, and coordinate work to advance product development goals.

Responsibilities include analyzing data with statistics, presenting findings, writing plans, and collaborating with other units. A PhD is preferred; postdoctoral or industry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• PhD in Life Sciences, Engineering or related field preferred.
• Postdoctoral or industrial experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree may be considered with additional years of experience including a minimum of 6 years hands-on experience with the MSD platform.

Responsibilities

• Develops, designs, and executes experiments to support research and product development.
• Leads technical teams to achieve project goals and coordinates work of team members.
• Prepares experimental procedures, notebooks, and records to support development efforts.
• Analyzes data using statistics and creates tables/graphs to highlight findings.
• Presents findings to peers, managers, and clients; makes recommendations for next steps.
