Job summary

Tempus is seeking a Senior Scientist II, Data Solutions - Sales to expand partnerships with pharmaceutical companies and drive revenue for our data products and services. The role focuses on understanding customer pipelines and delivering scientifically informed solutions in Real World Evidence and related domains.

The position requires deep scientific knowledge, strong relationships with pharma stakeholders, and the ability to navigate cross-functional teams to implement solutions.

Qualifications

• Education to Masters or PhD level in quantitative/biomedical field.

• BS/PhD level experience in data science or related field is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Meet/exceed revenue goals for set product line and client accounts.
• Build relationships with R&D and commercial executives to identify value opportunities.
• Develop scientific understanding of customer pipelines and objectives.
• Deploy consultative approach to apply Tempus products/services to client needs.
• Communicate plans and outcomes to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Partner with Account Team to ensure success against pipeline and opportunities.
• Collaborate to manage existing business and identify growth opportunities.
