Job summary
Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Senior Scientist to lead formulation and drug product development for gene delivery and advanced modality products. Qualifications
- Expertise in biophysical stability of biologic/advanced-modality products (aggregation, phase behavior).
- Hands-on freeze/thaw and frozen-state stability experience.
- Proficiency with DSC/mDSC and DLS for stability assessment.
- Ability to justify buffer/cryoprotectant/surfactant systems from first principles.
Responsibilities
- Design formulation and drug-product development studies for LVV, AAV, mRNA, and LNP products across liquid, frozen, and lyophilized forms.
- Lead freeze/thaw and cryopreservation studies and lyophilization cycle development; characterize Tg' and collapse behavior.
- Apply biophysical techniques to elucidate degradation mechanisms and guide formulation decisions.
- Support technology transfer, process scale-up, and sterile drug product operations; communicate data to stakeholders.
