Job summary

or M.S. with hands-on upstream experience, strong DOE design, and proficiency with JMP.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. with hands-on upstream experience in viral vector production or related bioprocessing.
• Ability to design experiments with DOE approaches and analyze results using statistical software (e.g., JMP).
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Desire to learn the biology of cell and gene therapy products and their patient impact.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on upstream development of viral vector production (mammalian culture, bioreactors, transient transfection).
• Support process development and technology transfer for viral vector platforms.
• Contribute to late-stage development activities including process characterization.
• Design, plan, execute, and analyze lab experiments using DOE principles.
• Maintain proper documentation of results in an electronic lab notebook.
• Summarize and present scientific data to project teams; author internal reports.
• Follow lab safety rules and practices.
