Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a highly motivated scientist to advance functional assays for antibody therapeutics within Discovery Biotherapeutics. You will design cellular screening assays and mechanistic readouts in collaboration with diverse scientific teams.

Preferred candidates have a strong background in cell biology/immunology, experience with flow cytometry and imaging, and a track record of developing cellular assays for biologics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's/PhD with bioscience focus and several years of experience.
• Hands-on cellular assay design with diverse readouts and antibodies or biologics.
• Experience with TCEs and/or ADCs is a plus.
• Strong organization, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cellular screening assays for antibody biologics.
• Develop mechanistic assays for therapeutic modality and target profile.
• Generate cell lines or select commercial sources for functional readouts.
• Characterize protein reagents and participate in target ideation.
• Leverage automation and AI/ML to improve workflows.
• Present data to matrixed project teams and document in notebooks.
