Job summary

DuPont is seeking a Senior Scientist - Applications R&D at the Experimental Station in Wilmington, Delaware. This customer-facing role requires deep expertise in ion exchange resins, chromatography, and separation technologies to help customers adopt DuPont solutions and advance new applications.

The position offers opportunities to collaborate across R&D, Technical Service, Marketing, and Commercial teams to deliver innovative solutions, develop training materials, and contribute to business

Qualifications

Ph.D. in chemistry or a related discipline, or expected completion within three months.
Up to four years of relevant industry experience or equivalent.
Hands-on experience with liquid chromatography, HPLC, or related separation technologies.

Responsibilities

Serve as a customer-facing technical expert for ion exchange and separation technologies.
Partner with customers to understand challenges and develop value-adding solutions.
Design and execute lab studies to solve purification challenges and validate new applications.
Lead application development projects in bioprocessing and other growth areas.
