Job summary

Advanced Group seeks a Senior Scientist to lead analytical development for biologics. You will develop methods, characterize proteins, and support process development and technology transfer with internal and external partners.

Ideal candidates bring a PhD in a relevant field, 5+ years in biotech/pharma, and strong analytical/data interpretation skills. The role emphasizes collaboration, regulatory readiness, and leadership in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• PhD in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Biological Sciences, or related field (or equivalent).
• 5+ years in biotechnology or pharmaceutical development.
• Proven experience in analytical method development and protein characterization.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and execute analytical methods for biologic products.
• Perform protein characterization using chromatographic, electrophoretic, mass spectrometry, and biophysical techniques.
• Support upstream and downstream process development through analytical testing and data interpretation.
• Characterize product- and process-related impurities and support product quality assessments.
• Design, execute, analyze, and troubleshoot laboratory experiments independently.
• Process and interpret analytical data; prepare technical reports, protocols, SOPs, and scientific documentation.
• Support technology transfer activities and oversee analytical work performed by external laboratory partners.
• Contribute to manufacturing support activities and regulatory documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and training as needed.
