Job summary
ECS is seeking a Senior Scientist/Engineer to serve as a Scientific Engineering Technical Advisor (SETA) supporting an ARPA-H Program Manager from our Remote office. The role blends human physiology, regenerative medicine, and transplantation to drive bold research initiatives and manage translational programs.
You will assess technologies for clinical workflow, manufacturability, and regulatory constraints, draft briefings, and coordinate with academia, industry, and government partners.
Qualifications
- PhD or MD with substantial transplantation/regenerative medicine experience.
- Ability to synthesize complex scientific information into concise decision-support materials.
- Experience evaluating data and development pathways across translational work.
- Ability to obtain a federal Public Trust clearance.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical and strategic support across ARPA-H programs in tissue and organ technologies.
- Evaluate technologies against clinical workflows and transplant center operations.
- Conduct landscape analyses and diligence on emerging capabilities.
- Draft recommendations, briefs, and reviewer materials.
- Support program management activities and site visits.
- Travel CONUS ~10-20% as needed.
