Job summary

Amgen in Thousand Oaks, CA, seeks a Senior Scientist to join the PKDM-BA team. You will design and validate quantitative bioanalytical methods, lead experiments from development through clinical support, and work with diverse teams to drive regulatory submissions.

You will optimize protocols, author reports, troubleshoot methods, and contribute to quality and scientific excellence in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree required or equivalent.
• Master’s degree with 2+ years pharma/biotech/CRO experience or Bachelor’s with 4+ years experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, lead, and participate in experiments to support development, validation and production of quantitative bioanalytical methods.
• Optimize study protocols, review experiments and author bioanalytical reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including protein therapeutics, medicinal chemistry, pharmacokinetics, toxicology, clinical pharmacology and regulatory affairs.
