Job summary

Amgen in Thousand Oaks, California is seeking a Senior Scientist – Non-Regulated Immunoassays to join the PKDM organization. The role develops and executes immunoassays for pharmacokinetic and soluble target proteins, across multiple platforms, with emphasis on quality data to support program decisions.

The candidate will design experiments, troubleshoot, validate assays, and collaborate across Discovery Research, Precision Medicine, Translational Safety, and other areas in a fast-paced,

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in a relevant life sciences field (PhD/PharmD/MD).
• Demonstrated experience in immunoassay development and data analysis.
• Strong collaboration and communication in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, qualify, validate, and execute non-regulated immunoassays.
• Perform analysis using ELISA, MSD/ECL, Gyrolab, Quanterix, AlphaLISA, etc.
• Design experiments, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
• Generate reproducible data and maintain rigorous records.
• Transfer methods and support program objectives through data delivery.
• Interpret results and communicate findings in reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with Discovery Research, Precision Medicine, Translational Safety, and others.
• Maintain lab records and support instrument maintenance and inventory.
