Job summary

Lancesoft INC seeks a Scientist 2 Chemistry / Laboratory Analyst for an onsite role in Malvern, PA. The candidate will execute experiments in a GMP-regulated lab, review data, and maintain proper documentation.

A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry is required, with 2+ years of related experience, or a Master’s with 1+ year. Experience with protein or impurities assays, ELISA, or analogous techniques is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field with 2+ years of related industry laboratory experience, or Master’s with 1+ year of experience.
• Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills; cross-functional collaboration in a customer-focused environment.
• Experience with two or more of the following techniques: plate-based biochemical assays (impurity, HCP), ELISA, FRET, cell-based potency assays.
• Experience in a cGMP environment; perform experiments and data review per SOPs.
• Electronic Laboratory Notebook experience preferred; bioassay troubleshooting is a plus.

• Must have Protein or Impurities assays experience

Description:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related subject area, with a minimum of 2 or more years of related industry laboratory experience is required, or a Master’s degree with 1 or more years of related industry laboratory experience is required.
• Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills are required. Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills (written and oral) and the ability to work in a cross-functional customer-focused environment is required.
• Experience with a minimum of two of the following techniques is required:
• Plate-based biochemical assays (impurity, HCP), ELISA, FRET, Cell based potency assays.
• Experience working in a cGMP environment is required. Perform experiments and data review according to SOPs and protocols.
• Experience with electronic laboratory notebook is preferred.
• Excellence in bioassay trouble shooting is preferred.
• Ability to work with limited guidance to plan, execute, and follow through with studies is preferred.
