Job summary

Insight Global in Spring House, PA seeks a Scientist to join the Critical Reagents Bioanalysis team. You will provide protein biochemistry services including purification, conjugation, and characterization to support the bioanalytical laboratory. This role also manages buffers and GLP-compliant documentation.

The candidate will document experiments, maintain records in ELN, and participate in group discussions while collaborating with a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry or similar discipline.
• 2+ years of relevant lab experience.
• Prior experience with protein purification and conjugation techniques.
• Experience with HPLC, SDS-PAGE, UV/Vis spectrophotometry, and centrifugation.

Responsibilities

• Provide complete and compliant end-to-end documentation for all outgoing shipments.
• Assess biophysical and/or biochemical properties of assay reagents.
• Submit data and outcomes to manager and follow directions on next steps.
• Operate laboratory equipment and instruments in adherence to SOPs and safety training.
• Follow SOPs and help with daily protein purification and conjugation work.
• Support accurate record keeping and experimental data integrity with electronic lab notebook and standard databases.
• Contribute data and ideas in group meetings.

Job description

Hiring Method: 12 Month Extending Contract (Holidays / PTO)

Compensation:

$36.35/hr to $47.48/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Our large pharmaceutical client in Spring House, PA is seeking a Scientist to join the Critical Reagents Bioanalysis team within the R&D Bioanalytical Discovery and Development Sciences organization. This person will be providing protein biochemistry services to support the bioanalytical laboratory. These services include but are not limited to: protein conjugation, purification, and characterization. In addition, the job responsibility also includes preparing or managing the preparation of critical buffer inventory stocks. The position performs experiments and maintains detailed laboratory and experimental records via electronic laboratory notebook system and online database, in accordance with GLP. The candidate should be highly self-motivated with excellent communication and scientific problem solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Additional responsibilities include:
