Job summary

Lockwood seeks a Senior Scientific Director to plan, develop, and oversee scientific content for assigned accounts across therapeutic areas, ensuring accuracy, transparency and scientific value in medical communications.

You will lead client interactions, brand strategy, and the scientific components of brand planning, while managing resources, timelines, and opportunities for growth in oncology content.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience with promotional medical education content (advisory boards, speaker programs, slide decks, etc).
• Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and interpret scientific data, multitask, and manage projects with limited direction.
• Experience with established professional medical editorial processes (AMA style) and ethical guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned accounts and client interactions, and guide brand strategy.
• Oversee the scientific portion of brand planning and business development.
• Manage resource allocation and partner with client services to develop SOWs and timelines.
• Identify areas for new and organic growth, including oncology content; Glioma experience preferred.
