TetraScience, Inc. is seeking a senior, hands-on Data Engineer to join our forward-deployed teams.

You will design, build, and ship integrations and data products on Tetra OS for biotech, pharmaceutical, and scientific customers worldwide, mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with product managers and solution architects. You'll lead technical relationships with customers, develop bidirectional data pipelines, data schemas, and parsers across formats, and deploy solutions in cloud,

Qualifications

• 8+ years building data products as a Data Engineer or similar.
• 8+ years Python and SQL focused on data, integrations and scientific apps.
• Expertise in Python; working knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Node, and React.
• History leading customer-facing implementation projects across cross-functional teams.
• Experience with non-clinical data and lab scientists.
• Familiarity with biotech/pharma and regulated environments (GxP).
• Familiarity with networking, CI/CD, and full stack development.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud engineering (S3, Lambda, ECS, SQS, SNS, EC2, CloudWatch).
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and delivery leadership.

Responsabilités

• Act as a forward deployed engineer for biotech/pharma customers, owning the technical relationship and delivering solutions.
• Drive bidirectional integrations between Tetra OS and customer systems (ELN, LIMS, MES) with serverless pipelines and data apps.
• Design data schemas and parsers for R&D and manufacturing data across formats (.xlsx, .pdf, .txt, .raw, .fid, etc.).
• Deploy and test solutions in cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments; troubleshoot full stack issues.
• Collaborate with product managers, solution architects, business analysts, data architects, and ML engineers to turn requirements into data products.
• Create test automation to prove expected behaviors and lead quality improvements.
• Lead process and technology improvements for product quality and developer experience.
• Rally the team to complete Agile sprint commitments; surface and resolve inefficiencies.
• Drive results with pragmatic urgency and provide mentorship to junior engineers.
