Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in food service management, nutrition, dietetics, hospitality/food service administration, business, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible food service experience including operations, purchasing, budgeting, and staff supervision.
• Knowledge of USDA and NYSED Child Nutrition requirements and school meal programs.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, analytical, and financial skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily food service operations across Falk School locations.
• Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate food service staff and managers.
• Coordinate procurement, inventory, and vendor management for the program.
• Develop and maintain compliant breakfast and lunch menus and production records.
• Ensure program compliance with NYSED Child Nutrition and USDA requirements.
• Oversee budgets, grants, and monthly ledger review.
• Serve as primary liaison with NYSED Child Nutrition.
• Plan staff meetings and professional development.
