Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance required.
• Five years of progressively responsible accounting experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting for nonprofits.
• Experience with QuickBooks and Excel is essential.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities and maintain GL integrity.
• Manage monthly and fiscal year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations and schedules.
• Reconcile bank, investment, payroll, and other GL accounts.
• Review AR/AP activity for proper GL recording.
• Prepare monthly financial statements for CFO review.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Support annual audit preparations and Form 990 information.
• Maintain internal controls and accounting documentation.
