Job summary

CESO seeks a Lead Communication Strategist to lead and execute school communications strategies, strengthen client relationships and shepherd projects from concept to completion in a remote-friendly environment.

You'll act as a trusted advisor to superintendents and communications directors, guide multi-faceted projects from strategy to execution, contribute to business development and proposals, and mentor teammates while balancing deadlines and quality.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years in communications or school communications preferred.
• Ability to write clear, engaging content across platforms.
• AP style knowledge and copyediting skills.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead client strategy and advisory work for school districts.
• Manage multi-faceted projects from strategy to execution.
• Support proposals and pitches; assist with business development.
• Mentor colleagues and improve internal processes.
