Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Senior Communications Specialist to lead internal and external communications. You will craft clear messages, manage media relations, and develop strategies that advance our client's brand and goals in a remote-first environment.

You will collaborate with marketing, HR, and other teams to ensure cohesive storytelling across channels, including social media, press materials, and intranet communications. Strong writing and crisis management experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years in communications, PR, or related field with corporate focus.
• Proven success in developing and executing impactful comms strategies.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills with engaging storytelling.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, PR, Marketing or related field; able to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic communication plans for internal and external audiences.
• Craft compelling content, including press releases, speeches, articles, website copy, and social updates.
• Manage media relations, responding to inquiries and seeking positive coverage opportunities.
• Oversee internal communications channels to keep employees informed and engaged.
• Develop crisis communication strategies and manage response efforts as needed.
• Collaborate with marketing, HR, and other departments for consistent messaging.
• Monitor communication effectiveness and analyze feedback to refine strategies.
• Manage the organization's social media presence and online reputation.
• Ensure all communications align with brand identity and strategic objectives.
