INTEGRIS Health in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a Senior Scheduling Specialist for Central Scheduling on the day shift. This full-time role focuses on advanced scheduling, registration, and patient access to ensure smooth operations and a positive patient experience.

You will manage complex scheduling, verify insurance, estimate patient financial responsibility, and communicate with patients, providers, and payers.

Qualifications

• 4 years of Patient Access operations activities (scheduling/registration/insurance) or related experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs and with admission/discharge/transfer or billing/claims management software
• Knowledge of medical terminology, basic ICD-10 and CPT coding healthcare program reimbursement

Responsibilities

• Performs complex scheduling and registration activities, including handling calls and scheduling with required information.
• Verifies insurance, reviews eligibility, and estimates patient financial responsibility.
• Manages high call volumes in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professional service.
• Resolves routine inquiries and reimbursement questions for patients and payers.
• Communicates with patients, physician offices, and carriers to resolve issues promptly.
• Collects patient payments and follows financial clearance processes.
• Acts as liaison for complex access issues and provides guidance to staff.
• Provides training and coaching on processes and payer requirements.
• Supports quality improvement initiatives and data preparation for reporting.
