Job summary

McCownGordon Construction seeks a Senior Scheduler to prepare, monitor, and revise construction schedules, train project teams, and lead scheduling initiatives across projects in Plano, TX. The role also supports pursuit schedules, critical path analysis, and mentoring junior schedulers.

The ideal candidate has 6–10+ years of related scheduling experience, PSP certification within 1 year, and proficiency with MS Project, BIM tools, and Primavera P6.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or related field.
• PSP certification within 1 year of hire.
• 6 to 10+ years of related scheduling experience.
• Fundamental understanding of BIM applications, PM software and Estimating software.
• Knowledge of MS Project, Bluebeam, SharePoint, and drawing management applications.
• Desirable to have propensity towards writing macros and using Visual Basic.
• Knowledge in SmartPM and PWA; experience with Primavera P6 is a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Provides project schedule support by developing, monitoring, and revising project schedules.
• Reviews schedules for adherence to procedural and project requirements; resolves scheduling issues.
• Performs critical path analysis and Time Impact Analysis as requested by project teams.
• Supports pursuits with initial use of schedule templates and data gathering for schedules.
• Provides training and development through McCownGordon University and mentoring of junior schedulers.
