Job summary

McGough is seeking a Senior Planning & Scheduling Manager to lead CPM scheduling for complex commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will collaborate with project managers, superintendents, owners, and trade partners to develop, maintain, and analyze schedules in Primavera P6, and provide schedule risk and delay analysis.

The role champions Lean planning, supports project controls, mentors teams, and ensures on‑time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience may substitute.
• 10+ years of commercial construction scheduling experience.
• Advanced Primavera P6 proficiency.
• Strong knowledge of CPM scheduling, construction sequencing, project delivery methods, and project controls.
• Experience developing and maintaining resource- and cost-loaded schedules.
• Experience performing schedule updates, forecasting, and progress analysis.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and scheduling efforts for complex commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, preconstruction teams, owners, and trade partners to develop, maintain, and analyze CPM schedules.
• Provide schedule risk and delay analysis and support project controls.
• Champion scheduling standards, Lean planning practices, and continuous improvement; mentor project teams.
